Race Overview

The Qatar 1812 KM is unlike any other race on the WEC calendar. Set against the backdrop of the Qatari desert, Lusail International Circuit combines sweeping high-speed corners, world-class facilities, and one of endurance racing's most spectacular sights—Hypercars charging beneath towering floodlights.

Named after Qatar's National Day on December 18, the race stretches up to 1,812 kilometers, demanding perfect strategy, tire management, and concentration from teams over nearly ten hours of racing.

  • Merchandise stores

  • Food court

  • Manufacturer displays

  • Driver appearances

  • Comfortable seating

  • Large video screens

  • Clean facilities

The atmosphere is more relaxed than Europe's classic endurance races but is ideal for newcomers and families. Recent spectators have highlighted the quality of the viewing areas and plentiful video screens around the venue. (Reddit)
